Overview
The successful candidate must have a solid understanding and experience in test case automation and scripting for web applications and microservices/API testing.
Responsibilities
- Contribute at the design, coding, and implementation level in creating and refining the automation testing framework.
- Apply sound computer science practices to automate core API and web functionality tests across platforms.
- Analyze and test B2B information systems and microservice-based multi-tier distributed applications based on technologies like Java, Angular, etc.
- Validate applications end-to-end with different database systems like MySQL, MS SQL Server, Elasticsearch, etc.
- Assume ownership for issues end-to-end.
- Test scripting and execution of functional tests.
- Perform performance, load, and security testing.
- Work with an Agile scrum team to ensure the acceptance criteria are met.
Qualifications
- BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of hands-on coding experience in Java.
- Experience contributing at the design, coding, and implementation level in creating and refining automation testing frameworks.
- Experience with Cucumber or a similar testing tool.
- Experience applying sound computer science practices to automate core API and web functionality tests across platforms.
- Experience analyzing and testing B2B information systems and microservice-based multi-tier distributed applications based on technologies like Java, Angular, etc.
- Experience validating applications end-to-end with different database systems like MySQL, MS SQL Server, Elasticsearch, etc.
- Ability to assume ownership for issues end-to-end.
- Experience in test scripting and execution of functional tests.
- Experience in performance, load, and security testing.
- Ability to work with an Agile scrum team to ensure the acceptance criteria are met.
