System, Network, and Database Administrator – 5-day office; no remote work. Our company, MCL Systems Limited (MCL), is a software development firm specializing in telecom billing and operational support software (OSS) solutions, Cadebill and Ganges. These solutions are used by telecommunication companies of all sizes around the world.

Roles and Responsibilities: Manage the network, system, and database infrastructure. Our infrastructure is a multi-site network cluster of Windows and Linux servers, SQL Server databases, and other supporting network hardware and software. Technologies include Microsoft Systems Center (SCCM, SCVMM, SCOM), PowerShell programming, Windows Servers, virtual desktops, Linux servers, Microsoft SQL Server, Dell network switches, WatchGuard network security for multi-site global networks, Veeam backups, Dell hardware servers, Azure, and Amazon Cloud.
Essential Skills: Expert knowledge in architecting and administering high-availability clustering application-based server solutions; managing and ensuring the effectiveness of security solutions (firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection systems); SQL Server administration (mirroring, replication, backups, and restores); daily server operations including user and permission management; network switch, router, and VoIP phone management; strong PowerShell programming; excellent written and oral English communication; organizational and time management skills; and the ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks while working effectively as a team player.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 5+ years’ experience with certifications in system and networking areas.
Experience: Junior levels: 2+ years experience; Senior levels: 5+ years experience.
